Morningstar KiwiSaver Results

In the latest Morningstar KiwiSaver report to 30 June 2024 we were really pleased to see our Pie KiwiSaver Growth and Balanced Funds both being ranked number one for 1 year returns to 30 June 2024 versus the competition.

Our top ranking was against a pool of 25 competitors in the Growth category and 33 in the Balanced category. In line with our strategy these returns are a result of the funds our Pie KiwiSaver Scheme invests in doing well, that is the Fixed Income, Property and Infrastructure, Global Growth 2 and Australasian Growth 2 Funds.

Morningstar is a global investment research firm who quarterly produce a KiwiSaver industry summary report that captures all providers, their funds and those funds' returns. A copy of the report can be found here

Our Pie KiwiSaver Growth Fund continues to perform well over both the short and long term, being number one over one year, and top quartile over five years. The fund has been in operation a little over that time.

As inflation falls and interest rates decline, certain market sectors thrive. This led us to launch our Fixed Income Fund and Property & Infrastructure Fund late last year, anticipating opportunities from falling rates. As this thesis plays out these funds, and the funds in our Pie KiwiSaver Scheme which invest into them, should continue to do well.
