Local but Global: Pie Funds' Unique Investment Approach

At Pie Funds, we understand the importance of local knowledge and the role people play in driving performance, which is why we have investment teams based in offices in Auckland, Sydney, London, and Hawke’s Bay.

Our teams are on the ground, meeting directly with companies and their management, ensuring we have a deep understanding of the markets we invest in, which aligns with our Investment Pillar #4 - Know the People.

Our Global Growth Fund, launched in 2013, invests predominantly in listed smaller companies. The Global investment team, based in London, is constantly evaluating how the fund can adapt to the current environment and generate long-term outperformance. Our core investment objective has remained unchanged since Pie's inception: to find high-quality growth companies with strong balance sheets and great management teams.

We believe in a focused approach to investing, typically holding a small number of investments that our global investment team has high conviction in. These concentrated portfolios tend to be higher risk but aim to deliver clients higher returns over the long term. We manage our funds in accordance with a robust risk framework, always acting in the best interests of our investors. At Pie, we have aligned interests as we have skin in the game and invest alongside our valued clients.

Our commitment extends beyond investment returns. We value our client relationships and strive to provide excellent communication and service. At Pie Funds, you're not just a number; you're a valued partner in our journey of aiming to deliver superior investment outcomes.
