The Fixed Income Fund's objective is to preserve capital (with some growth) which outperforms the market index over a period exceeding three years. The Fund invests predominantly in New Zealand and international fixed interest securities.
We select primarily investment grade fixed interest securities issued by companies and governments, with investments spread across issuers, sectors, maturities, and regions to provide an appropriate level of risk diversification.
We intend to invest mostly in international fixed interest securities, where we can gain exposure to a large universe of companies and countries that are liquid and trade frequently, offering greater opportunity for returns than is available in NZ fixed interest.
